08.01.2008 - Czech MP Rath definitively wins suit against senior govt ODS
The High Court thus upheld the verdict by the Regional Court in Prague from last June, rejecting the appeal lodged by the ODS and Czech trade unions not satisfied with one billion for education ...
Czech CSSD would win elections now, ahead of ODS - poll ...
Czech Republic loses suit over medicines at EU court again ... Dalik.
Rath said previously that the ODS and Dalik's corruption activities are behind last year's departure of Milos Melcak from the CSSD deputy group.
Melcak, together with another former CSSD deputy Michal Pohanka, helped Topolanek's government win confidence in the Chamber of Deputies a year ago.
The Social Democrats suspected Melcak of having left the CSSD deputy group last year because of a corruption offer the ODS made to him.
The ODS dismissed the CSSD accusation as an absolute nonsense.
Melcak, too, resolutely denied having been "bought" by the strongest party in order to support its government.
The CSSD expelled Melcak from the party at the beginning of last year.
