"Various grant schemes that the government considers its priority will also be published," Vondra (senior ruling Civic Democrats, ODS) said. The changes in the data offered on the website will concern the network of EU information centres, too. Vondra recalled that senior government officials study foreign languages in connection with the Czech presidency. The main motto of the Czech presidency will be Europe without barriers.
The preparations for the presidency are to cost some 3.3 billion crowns. Informal meetings of EU ministers are to be held in Prague, the cities of Brno, south Moravia, Ostrava and Olomouc, both north Moravia, and the towns of Litomerice, central Bohemia, Marianske Lazne, west Bohemia, and Hluboka nad Vltavou, south Bohemia.
