One person has been killed and several injured in a blast that rocked a suburb of the Lebanese capital of Beirut, security sources and media reports say.
It was not immediately clear what caused the explosion which was heard north of the city in the mainly Christian Dora neighbourhood.
Witnesses reported seeing smoke billowing near the Mediterranean coast.
