According to the prepared amendment, people registered with a labour office as unemployed would have the right to state support for five, eight and 11 months respectively, compared to the current six, nine and 12 months, Pravo says.
Necas allegedly also wants the unemployment benefit to rise to 65 percent of net income instead of the current 50 percent.
The increase in the maximum benefit level is subject to negotiations, Pravo writes, referring to Necas's words.
"We want every unemployed to receive a job or retraining offer by the end of the fifth month," Necas told Pravo.

Under the bill, people who would leave their work without a serious reason, would also lose the right to state benefits, Pravo notes.
Necas told Pravo that the final version of the bill would be completed in two weeks, Pravo adds.
