Julinek withdrew his complaint against Rath in January, a court employee confirmed. Rath told journalists in November 2005 that Julinek probably covered the production costs of a brochure on the ODS health care reform from the budget of the Czech majority health insurer VZP. Julinek then sued Rath.

Czech doctors for changes in health system, reject planned reform ... March, a regional court sided with Julinek, but Rath appealed the verdict. The court then ruled that Rath has to apologise to Julinek a pay him 20,000 crowns. Cikrt said Julinek was satisfied with the fact that the court said he was right and he did not want to deal with the case anymore. However, Cikrt did not release the conditions of the out-of-court settlement. ($1=17.026 crowns)
