According to early-exit polls, Kremlin's presidential candidate Dmitry Medvedev has received almost 70 percent of votes. No major changes in Russia's foreign policy are to be expected after President Vladimir Putin will be most probably replaced with Dmitry Medvedev, Czech Prime Minister Mirek Topolanek said earlier today. The Czech Foreign Ministry said the results were no surprise. Its press release, passed to CTK by spokeswoman Zuzana Opletalova, said Russia was an important trade, investment, energy and raw materials partner.
Hence the interest in the two countries' relations to develop in a positive, constructive and pragmatic spirit.
