It said Brozova-Polednova's role in the trial was not crucial to an extent that would allow for it to be qualified as murder. A lower-level court previously sentenced Brozova-Polednova to eight years in prison. Facing made-up charges of treason and espionage, Horakova was sentenced to death and executed on June 27, 1950.
