Czechs consider organised crime biggest threat-poll ... of Justice (ECJ) already issued a verdict against the Czech Republic on the issue. The Czech Republic has failed to harmonise its legislation on doctors and dentists from other EU countries with EU directives. EU foreigners who want to work as doctors in the Czech Republic must be members of the Czech Doctors Chamber (CLK) though a certificate from their home country should suffice. The EU directive should have been adopted by May 2004. The EC sued the Czech Republic in 2006 and the ECJ verdict was issued last year. It has been the first verdict against a new EU member country.
