Kenya's coalition government is due to be sworn in with opposition leader Raila Odinga set to take up the post of prime minister. Odinga's cabinet post is a key element of a power-sharing deal with President Mwai Kibaki, aimed at settling a post-election crisis. The agreement, signed in February, prescribed an equal share of power. The former UN Secretary General Kofi Annan, who mediated the deal, will witness the ceremony in Nairobi.
