Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed Rio Ferdinand, Michael Carrick and Wes Brown have signed new contracts with Manchester United.
Ferguson was informed of the news by chief executive David Gill this morning but the length of the deals has not been revealed.
Brown's contract was due to expire in the summer while Ferdinand had two years remaining on his deal.
Carrick joined the club in 2006 in a Ј18.6m deal from Tottenham.
