Two representatives of Tibet's exiled spiritual leader the Dalai Lama have arrived in the southern Chinese city of Shenzhen for a meeting with Chinese officials scheduled for Sunday.
Ahead of the meeting, the official Tibet Daily described the Dalai Lama as a criminal who masterminded the most serious unrest in Tibet in nearly two decades. Last month, Beijing offered to renew dialogue over Tibet, in a move widely seen as a response to global pressure over China's crackdown on unrest in the Himalayan region.
