Iron price up 65% for Asian firms ... than 10,000 may have been killed. That's according to Asian diplomats who attended a briefing by Burmese Foreign Minister Nyan Win in Rangoon. The junta has also urgently appealed for foreign aid to help hundreds of thousands of people who have been left without shelter and drinking water. Relief efforts from United Nations aid agencies and the International Red Cross are progressing slowly due to widespread damage and strict government restrictions on the movements of foreign aid workers.
