The Czech Republic is to sign the respective treaties with the United States by July, according to the latest information. One of the aims of Topolanek's current visit is to encourage trade contacts between the two countries that entered the European Union four years ago and are NATO members. Topolanek opened a business seminar in Tallinn today. He said bilateral trade is not too intensive while there are opportunities for Czech businesspeople in Estonia such as in energy industry, construction of means of transport, environment technologies and tourism. Both countries would also like to cooperate in penetrating into third markets. The Czech Republic could help Estonia's business activities in Germany, for instance, while Estonia could help Czechs in Scandinavia where it has a strong position.
