Lebanese soldiers have been deployed in the northern city of Tripoli, after fierce battles between rival clans.

Saudis advised to avoid Lebanon ... four days of sectarian fighting. The Hezbollah-led opposition has since handed control of west Beirut back to the army. The Arab League is set to hold emergency talks in Egypt on the crisis, amid regional Sunni Muslim fears about Shi'ite Iran's influence in divided Lebanon.
