German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier is the first high-level statesman to visit Russia after the change of power in the Kremlin.
He begins his five-day trip in Yekaterinburg where he is to meet his Russian counterpart, Sergei Lavrov. He then travels to Moscow and St. Petersburg.
