Gaza's Hamas leader Mahmoud Zahar says an Israeli soldier, captured by the milititant group two years ago, will not be included in any truce deal with Israel.

Israel fears Hamas will only use a lull in fighting to rearm. Gaza has been virtually sealed by Israel and Egypt since the violent Hamas takeover of the territory last June.
