Chinese rescue workers are slowly reaching cities that were hardest hit by Monday's powerful earthquake.
The military is also using airdrops to get much needed aid supplies like food and water to survivors. Nearly 15,000 people are known to have been killed and another 25,000 are believed to be trapped under rubble. The Chinese government has agreed to allow Japan and Taiwan to send emergency rescue teams to help with efforts to search for possible survivors of the earthquake in the south-western province of Sichuan.
