German citizen held by US forces as terror suspect ... Bundestag's five parties voted for the prolongation of the deployment of some 2,200 soldiers in the Balkan state. Only the Left Party voted against. Germany makes up the largest contingent of the 16,000-strong NATO-led KFOR mission, which is meant to stabilise Kosovo. Its Albanian majority declared independence from Serbia in February, against the wishes of Belgrade and Russia.
