06.06.2008 - Czech Chamber rejects CSSD bill banning hospital transformation
Prime Minister Mirek Topolanek (Civic Democrats, ODS) promised the Chamber before the vote that neither the government nor the Health Ministry would decide on Czech soccer hooligans may be punished during match at stadium ...
Czech ODS prefers lower social insurance payments, to keep taxes ... the transformation.
But the opposition CSSD and Communist (KSCM) MPs said they did not trust Topolanek's promise and they insisted on the vote on Rath's bill to be taken.
The bill was then rejected by a narrow majority of votes even though two government coalition MPs, Vera Jakubkova and Olga Zubova (both for junior ruling Greens), supported it.
