In the 2008 European football championship, two matches are being played in Group C on Monday.
It has been called the "group of death" with at least three teams considered favourites for the cup. Romania take on France in Zurich and later Italy is playing the Netherlands in Bern. In Sunday's matches in Group B, Germany booked a strong 2-0 win over Poland and Croatia managed a shaky 1-0 victory over co-hosts Austria.
