A top leader of Somalia's ousted Islamic movement has rejected a UN-brokered peace deal between the government and an opposition alliance.
Sheik Hassan Dahir Aweys said on Tuesday that the Somali people should continue to fight until Ethiopian troops leave the country. Late on Monday, the interim Somali government and the opposition Alliance for the Re-Liberation of Somalia agreed to a peace deal. One key point of the agreement was the departure of Ethiopian forces from Somalia within 120 days.
