The Burmese military regime has released 15 activists arrested two weeks ago for trying to march to the house of detained pro-democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi.
The 15 were taken into custody last month while marching from Suu Kyi's National League for Democracy headquarters to her home with a banner calling for her release from house arrest. The junta extended Suu Kyi's detention order another year in May. The Nobel laureate has spent 12 of the last 18 years in prison or house arrest.
