It said Zelenka had confessed to his deeds and assessments of experts had confirmed his guilt as well. During the main trial, Zelenka changed his original testimony and said he had administered heparin to five people only but could not remember giving it to anyone else. He said the police had wrung the original confession from him by force. The court did not accept his assertion, however.
