Original figures put the death toll at over 100 on the flight, which was carrying more than 200 people. Officials say the Sudan Airways jet overshot the runway when it landed in bad weather. The flight had originated from Amman, Jordan, and was diverted to the Red Sea city of Port Sudan earlier in the day due to inclement weather, before trying to land in the Sudanese capital.
