Japan says it will lift some of its sanctions on North Korea following progress in negotiations between the two countries. Japan's Kyodo news agency reported that Tokyo would lift certain travel restrictions after Pyongyang agreed to re-examine the fate of Japanese citizens abducted by North Korean agents.
