Queen Elizabeth II has been celebrating her official birthday with the expected pomp and pageantry.
Thousands of spectators turned out in central London on Saturday for the event which is traditionally marked by one of the world's most colourful military parades. The Queen actually turned 82 in April, but her official birthday celebration is held in June as the weather is better.
