Suicide blast in crowded Afghan bazaar ... say 15 militants have been killed in clashes during a search for fugitives from a dramatic jailbreak. Coalition forces could not confirm if any of those killed were escaped inmates.
NATO and Afghan forces are searching for hundreds of prisoners of Kandahr prison, freed in a Taliban orchestrated raid. Militants used two suicide bombers to blast their way into the jail, and gunmen on motorcycles to storm the compound. Around 1,000 inmates, including some 400 Taliban, escaped. Officials said 15 guards were killed.
