Bush spent the day on Sunday in London on the final stop of his so-called "farewell" tour of Europe. Mr. Bush and his wife Laura met with Queen Elizabeth earlier in the afternoon and later had dinner with Prime Minister Gordon Brown. In an interview with the Observer newspaper ahead of his arrival, Mr. Bush called on Britain not to set a timetable for its withdrawal from Iraq, arguing against recent speculation that Britain could pull its forces out by the end of the year.
