Iran has withdrawn 75 billion dollars from Europe to prevent assets being frozen in a possible fresh round of sanctions.
Meanwhile Germany urged Iran on Monday to study and accept the latest incentives package from world powers aimed at ending the standoff over its controversial nuclear programme. The new offer holds out a package of technological and economic incentives in return for Iran suspending its uranium enrichment activities. The Tehran leadership says its nuclear programme is for peaceful purposes only.
