US 'failing' Afghan fair trials ... explosion took place at a mosque in a Shiite Muslim neighbourhood in the town of Dera Ismail Khan, which has a history of sectarian violence. A police official said that people were coming out of the mosque after prayers when the blast went off. Witnesses said that some parts of the mosque were destroyed and nearby markets were shut down immediately after the incident to curb possible protests.
