"13-0 down and I fear NZ haven't even got going yet. Going to be an awful scoreline come full time."

"Anybody else out there, or is it just me and you Mark?"

25 mins: Big moment for England. Carter fails to collect an up and under in his own 22 and Narraway releases Varndell out wide. The winger crashes over in the corner but the try is not awarded as the video referee correctly rules that Leon MacDonald had just pushed Varndell out of bounds.
24 mins: PENALTY New Zealand 13-0 England
England skipper Steve Borthwick is penalised for being on the wrong side of a line-out maul. Carter slots over the kick.
22 mins: England scrum-half Danny Care takes a quick tap from deep and darts through a gap. Nice to see. However, when New Zealand bring their man down, England dive into the ruck and the All Blacks gain possession.
20 mins: Another wonderful attack from New Zealand after a quick line-out in their own half. The ball is spread wide quickly and Kahui looks as if he will get to the corner but Flood stops him with a fine last-gasp tackle. It seems for all the world as if he has dislocated his shoulder, or broken his collarbone, as he writhes in pain on the grass but after a bit of treatment - the now Leicester man is up and playing.
19 mins: It's all a bit scrappy at the moment although Carter does lift things a little with a lovely step and offload that takes him past Haskell.
16 mins: New Zealand lock Ali Williams is off after picking up an injury in a tackle from Mathew Tait. Anthony Boric is his replacement.
12 mins: TRY New Zealand 10-0 England
England fire an up and under far too long and New Zealand counter. Carter goes on the outside and after Noon falls off a tackle, he releases debutant centre Richard Kahui on the scissors for his first international try. Easy. Carter converts.
10 mins: It's been a good couple of minutes from England. They are having a bit of ball now. The visitors threaten when Haskell charges forward on the blind-side from a nice line-out move.
8 mins: Wasps blind-side James Haskell shows his power, driving a New Zealand player backwards in the tackle. England get the penalty, fly-half Toby Flood sees a gap and boots the ball to the corner flag. Leicester flyer Tom Varndell chases it down but Sitiveni Sivivatu covers.
6 mins: England's forwards try and rumble forward in New Zealand's half but after they go to ground, more ferocious work by the All Blacks at the breakdown - this time by Adam Thomson - forces the penalty.
2 mins: PENALTY New Zealand 3-0 England
New Zealand try and attack but after they fail to punch through the England line, play is brought back for a penalty. Lee Mears is pinged for desperately trying to hold onto to the ball as Richie McCaw ripped it from his grasp. Carter puts his team in front.
1 min: All Black fly-half Dan Carter kicks off. England try and go through the phases with the forwards but are turned over after some good work by New Zealand at the breakdown. Not a good start.
0832: Well that passes without much incident. Referee Jonathan Kaplan is about to get the game started.
0831: The anthems are a little understated. Maybe it is the presence of a schoolboy choir which is keeping everyone calm. It's haka time.
0824: It's dry in Christchurch but quite murky to be honest. The teams are about to emerge.
"Don't see New Zealand ruling the roost in the midfield this week. Noon and Tindall have solid written all over them."

0818: New Zealand are giving Test debuts to outside centre Richard Kahui and winger Rudi Wulf today. Wulf, 24, is playing for the All Blacks just three years after breaking his neck after diving into the shallow end of a swimming pool. He still has the scars above his eyes from the brace he had to wear. Unbelievable. Lawrence Dallaglio went to see him in hospital when in New Zealand for the 2005 Lions tour. Nice touch.
0812: Andrew has certainly tried to shake things up following last weekend's first Test defeat, making six changes to the side that lost 37-20 in Auckland.
Five of those alterations are in the backs, with the highlights being the selection of debutant scrum-half Danny Care, the axing of fly-half Charlie Hodgson and the pairing of Jamie Noon and Mike Tindall in the centres.
Don't know about you, but having these two smashers in midfield smacks to me of damage limitation and I do have a degree of sympathy for the dropped Olly Barkley.
The Gloucester centre certainly voiced his opinion during the week, I wonder how manager Martin Johnson will be feeling about those comments while sitting at home? Interesting.
Barkley anger over England axing
0809: It has been quite a week for the England squad. They have been under the shadow of a police investigation after four players were accused of a serious sexual assault following the first Test defeat last weekend - an allegation the players have denied in the "strongest terms".
England's management team have insisted that the players have not lost their focus and tour manager Rob Andrew said on Friday that "we are pretty confident we can move our game on".
Thankfully, after a week of rumour and innuendo, we can at last concentrate on some international rugby. Well, for the next two hours at least.
0806: Bit of late team news for you, substitute wing David Strettle has been ruled out with a calf strain suffered in training. Leicester flanker Tom Croft is promoted to the bench leaving a five-two forwards split among the replacements.
0804: Now I have to admit, I'm a little bit fuzzy around the edges this morning after Croatia were knocked out of Euro 2008 last night. Obviously I am still very, very gutted but over the last 10 hours or so I have come to the conclusion that football is a rubbish sport anyway. You lot obviously agree otherwise you wouldn't be here, right?
"We have to build on the positives from last week. We need to cut out the errors and the match will come down to fine margins. The preparation has gone well, we have been concentrating on this rugby match."
England skipper Steve Borthwick
0800: Hello you. Welcome to what could be a pretty feisty game as England, beleaguered and under-siege, aim to defy the odds by beating the All Blacks in the second Test. What a way to spend a Saturday morning.
Tell you what, it's pretty exciting being a BBC Sport reporter you know. Last weekend I was in California for the US Open golf, this weekend I'm in Christchurch. (Obviously I haven't left a drab and grey west London but hey, why spoil the illusion?)
So how do you think the game will go and what do you make of Rob Andrew's team selection? Get involved on 606 or via text on 81111 and I will use as many contributions as I can. Go on, you know you want to.
