21.06.2008 - Five foreign troops killed in Afghanistan

Officials say roadside bombs have killed five foreign troops in Afghanistan.  Four coalition soldiers were killed in Kandahar province and a Polish soldier from a separate NATO-led force was killed when a bomb hit his patrol further east.  German Minister Wants More Troops in Afghanistan ...

Meanwhile, German Defence Minister Franz Josef Jung said he wants to increase the Bundeswehr's presence in the country by 1,000 troops.  Germany currently has  3,500 troops in Afghanistan.
