Navy and coast guard divers in the Philippines have reached a capsized ferry where they found numerous bodies trapped inside.
A navy spokesman did not say how many corpses were seen but hundreds of the 864 passengers were confirmed still missing. So far, authorities have recovered at least 43 survivors from the Princess of the Stars ferry, which sank on Saturday off Sibuyan Island at the height of a typhoon.
