Philippine rescue divers have found dozens of bodies inside the Princess of Stars ferry that sank with more than 850 people on board during a typhoon off Sibuyan Island on Saturday.
Hundreds of people remain missing, feared drowned. Authorities say there is little hope of finding any survivors and rescue efforts are proceeding slowly to avoid fuel from leaking. 43 people have so survived what is one of the worst maritime disasters in the history of the Philippines. President Gloria Arroyo has ordered the coast guard to review sailing guidelines, especially those relating to typhoons.
