Pirates have siezed four European citizens including a German man, his French partner and their young son, from a yacht off Somalia's coast.
A local official said the family of three and the French pilot of the yacht were abducted early Monday as they sailed through the Gulf of Aden. The kidnappers then abandoned the yacht on the shore and took the hostages into a nearby mountainous area. An official said Puntland Security forces are pursuing the pirates.
