Germany has reached the finals of soccer's European Championship, after defeating Turkey 3-2.
Germany got off to a wobbly start, and were trailing 1-0 in the first half but managed to equalise by the break. The second half began less intense than the first, but two late goals saw Germany first take the lead then Turkey draw back level in the 86th minute. The game was clinched in the 90th minute with a goal by Philip Lahm. Germany last made the finals of a European Championship 12 years ago, and its the first time Turkey has reached the top four. Spain meet Russia in the other semi-final match in Vienna on Thursday. The finals take place on Sunday.
