Global Media Forum continues ... at an EU-Russia summit in Siberia. Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and European Commission chief Jose Manuel Barroso called for a "new chapter" in relations. Under Medvedev's predecessor, Vladimir Putin, ties between Russia and the EU became strained, notably over EU worries about Russia's domination of Europe's energy market.
