Filip said the committee had also recommended to Ransdorf and Remek that they draft programme documents on the preparations of the elections.
"I believe Ransdorf is a man able to create a vision of Czech politics within the EU as envisioned by the KSCM," Filip said.
The KSCM now has six MEPs.
Along with Remek and Ransdorf, Czech Communists are also represented by Daniel Stroz, Jiri Mastalka, Vera Flasarova and Jaromir Kohlicek in the European Parliament.
At present, the Czech Republic has 24 MEPs.
