US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice has arrived in China for a two-day visit where she is expected to meet with China's Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi in Beijing.
Before meeting Yang, Rice is expected to travel to the country's western Sichuan province to inspect the damage from the earthquake that ravaged the region in May this year. The two ministers are to discuss important regional and international issues including reining in North Korea's nuclear programme.
