European football champions have arrived in Spain to celebrate their victory over Germany in the final of Euro 2008 that gave the country its first major trophy for 44 years.
Tens of thousands of ecstatic Spanish fans greeted their national football team at a victory parade in Madrid. Spain beat Germany 1-0 in Vienna on Sunday. Earlier, thousands of German soccer fans gaven their national team a hero's welcome in front of Berlin's Brandenburg Gate. The rally was a chance for the team to thank the fans for their support during the championship in Switzerland and Austria.
