Former detainees of the Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq are suing US military contractors for alleged torture.
The four Iraqis say the contractors, who provide interrogators and translators at the prison, used beatings, electric shocks and mock executions as torture methods. A scandal surrounding the treatment of prisoners at Abu Ghraib emerged in 2004 after images of prisoners being abused emerged. CACI International, one of the contractors being sued has said the charges are unfounded. The complaints are being filed at US federal courts.
