"All of them have met the deadline and submitted the statements in time," he said, adding that the statements would be available on the Chamber's website next week. The photocopies of the statements of all 81 senators are available on the Senate website. CSSD chairman Jiri Paroubek acquired two flats last year worth 3.9 and 1.6 million crowns. He has a mortgage debt of 2.8 million crowns, a debt of 680,000 crowns and a 260,000-crown lease. Vojtech Filip, chairman of the junior opposition Communist Party (KSCM), declared an additional income of 230,000 crowns and a leasing debt of 74,000 crowns. Jiri Cunek, deputy prime minister, senator and chairman of the junior government Christian Democrats (KDU-CSL), whose property situation is commonly viewed as non-transparent, declared a 1.3-million-crown mortgage debt, a house worth 2.5 million crowns that he inherited last year and a garage and a garden worth 135,000 crowns that he received as a gift. Martin Bursik, deputy prime minister and chairman of the junior government Green Party (SZ), received an additional income of 1.7 million crowns from the lease of his property. He also declared a 1-million-crown debt to his former wife. Chamber of Deputies chairman Miloslav Vlcek (CSSD) declared a 5.4-million-crown debt to the Austrian Privatbank AG Linz. Defence Minister Vlasta Parkanova declared a mortgage debt of 3.7 million crowns that she shares with her daughter. Under the law, elected officials are obliged to declare in their property statements their business activities, additional incomes exceeding 100,000 crowns, acquired movable and immovable property worth over 500,000 crowns, shares in trading companies worth over 50,000 crowns and unpaid debts. According to an amendment to the law on conflict of interests that was passed this year and took effect as of June 20, only information concerning lawmakers, members of the government, the Broadcasting Council and paid members of the regional and local authorities can be disclosed.
