UNESCO's World Heritage Committee has begun deliberations over which of the word's architectural natural wonders to add to its list of protected sights.
The group of experts, which is meeting in Canada's Quebec City, will also decide whether to take the eastern German city of Dresden off the list. Dresden could be delisted following a decision to build a four-lane bridge in the heart of the 18th- and 19th-century cultural landscape of its Elbe Valley. UNESCO director general Koichiro Matsuura said he hoped another solution could be found.
