In Iraq, a car bomb targeting a police patrol exploded near a market in Baghdad on Sunday, killing at least six people and injuring 14 others.
No policemen were killed, but three were wounded, security officials said. The attack occured in the Shi'ite Al-Shab neighborhood of northern Baghdad. The bombing comes at what otherwise has been a relative lull in violence in the Iraqi capital.
