A blast has killed a number of people in Pakistan's capital Islamabad on the anniversary of the bloody end to the siege of the city's famous Red Mosque.
Police said they suspected a suicide bomber of causing the explosion, which they say killed at least 10 people in front of a police station near the mosque. Thousands of Pakistani Islamists had gathered at the site of the Red Mosque to mark the day the complex was stormed a year ago. More than 100 people were in the raid which ended a week long stand-off, after gunmen from inside clashed with police.
