The bomb exploded during rush hour Monday near the Indian Embassy, which sits across the street from Afghanistan's Interior Ministry on a tree-lined street in central Kabul. Dozens of Afghan men line up outside the embassy every morning to apply for visas to India. On Sunday, Afghan officials said that a coaltion missile strike killed at least 23 civilians going to a wedding ceremony in eastern Afghanistan. The attack occurred in the Nangarhar province and locals said most of those killed were women and children. The US has denied the claims.
