Some Czech Communists want to radically change party policy - MP ... October 2007, the poll authors said. According to the election model based on the poll results, the CSSD would be supported by 35.5 percent of voters and the ODS by 32.5 percent if elections were held in June. The junior opposition Communists (KSCM) would receive 15.1 percent of the vote, and the two junior government parties, the Christian Democrats (KDU-CSL) and the Greens (SZ), would gain 5.8 and 4.5 percent, respectively. The model shows the SZ would stay below the 5 percent parliament entry threshold.
However, in view of the possible margin of error, the SZ's failure in this respect is not completely sure, Median said. In June the election turnout would be 60 percent, the poll showed. In the latest general election two years ago the turnout was 64.5 percent.
