A new offer by South Korea to revive reconciliation talks with North Korea has been overshadowed by the killing of a South Korean female tourist by a North Korean soldier.
The 53-year-old woman apparently strayed into a restricted area near a recreation park, prompting a temporary stop of South Korean travellers to the north.
