Nigerian gunmen have kidnapped two Germans in the country's oil-producing Niger Delta region.
A military spokesman confirmed the two were abducted near Port Harcourt, where they were working on a road upgrading project. The two men work for a Nigerian subsidiary of German construction firm, Bilfinger Berger, which employs more than 500 Germans in Nigeria. In March, a German from the same company was kidnapped and released after 12 hours. No group has claimed responsibility for the abduction.
