"We will naturally meet such a government request with pleasure," Buergermeister told CTK. Chamber of Deputies chairman Miloslav Vlcek (opposition Social Democrats, CSSD) also told journalists that a lower house session sometimes after August 18 is being discussed. Buergermeister said the ODS deputies had agreed that they would be available after August 20 to attend such a session. He added that the August session should take place as its agenda was urgent. Now it will depend on the government to prepare bills for the deputies' debate. At present the Chamber session hall si being renovated, but the repair works should be completed by August 18. However, Vlcek said the new voting devices would not work by then so the voting results would be counted by "scrutators" during the August session, similarly like during the presidential election in February.
